Leadership Training Programme and Preparation for RYC

2nd March, 2014 Mysore : The leadership training and Mysore deanery level ICYM gathering held on 2nd of March 2014, in Catholic Centre Mysore. The programme started by a prayer song, the Diocesan President welcomed the gathering and the dignitaries. The chief guest and the Resource Person of the day was Sr. Lovely she spoke to the youth about The Youth Leadership In the Catholic Church. There was discussion and interaction and clarification between Youth and Youth Director for the better participation. then the Youth Director Fr. Anthony Raj spoke and enlightened the youth about ICYM, its rules and regulations and the information about the Regional Youth Convention 2014. There were 51 participants, there was an election for the Deanery EXCO for the posts of President, Treasure, Secretary and for the Boy Rep. The Youth Director selected Two representatives from each parish as a convener to convey the news of the commission and to select volunteers from their parish for the RYC 14. The Jesus Youth members taught the action songs to the youth. The Vice President Preetha D'souza delivered the vote of thanks. The seminar came an end at 6:00 p.m.
