The Annual General Body Meeting of YSM (Young Students Movement) Mangalore - 2016

The Annual General Body Meeting of YSM Mangalore with aims at Building A New Society by Self Change with the Methodology of Awareness- Reflection and Action was held on 2nd of July 2016. The inauguration session was held at 9.30 am, which was presided over by Sr. Cecilia Medonca, the Provincial Superior of Mangalore province of Bethany Congregation. She in her address appealed the students to be sincere and kind to everybody especially to the poor. The Chief Guest Rev Fr Ronald D’Souza spoke and said that one should make the best use of the opportunities that one get in life. The newly appointed Director Rev Fr Rupesh Madtha addressed the students and spoke about the vision of YSM in the coming years. Mr Norbert Misquith conducted a workshop on Leadership and Mr Roshan Lobo and Miss Joyline D’Silva conducted the ice breaking session. Miss Jeswita Quadros, the National YCS President and Former YSM Mangalore President Miss Mercy addressed the students and inspired them to be achievers.

In the afternoon the election was held and the following students are elected for the year 2016-17 for the council. Suhag Alva, Cascia -President, Nevil vivian D souza, Padua -Vice President , Samantha saldana,Kulshekar -Lady vice President , Parashuram,Mukthiprakash High School - Secretary, Shahnaz,Vamanjoor - Joint secretary, Pratheeksha, Kulur- Treasurer ,Preethika M,Kulur and Shivaraj,Padua - Yuva Tare Magazine Editorial Board, Rupika,Cascia and Rakshith, Vamanjoor - DTS, Riyana Anthia pinto,Padua - RTS.

Mr Leo D’Silva and Mrs Felcy D’Silva Kulshekar sponsored the event. The program was concluded at 2 .00 PM with YSM Anthem. More than 200 students and 20 animators were present.
