Yuvamithra School Cabinet Training Program

‘Yuvamithra’ the Youth Commission of the Diocese of Shimoga continuing the mission of creating value based leaders to build a new society had a unique ‘School Cabinet Training Program’ at St. Sebastian’s High School and Pre University College on 27.06.2014 to bring out the real leader in each individual and teaching them the value of being a leader at the service of the nation and society.

There were around 400 students who went through the first phase of the program. The students at this stage were motivated and explained the qualities of a good leader through a session and power point presentation. The second phase followed the first stage, 40 student leaders for the academic year 2014-15 were initiated in to a deeper concepts of leadership which involved practical activities with analysis and evaluation. Leaders from each class were trained to be value based leaders. Rev. Fr. Ronald Veigas, The diocesan Youth Director and Sr. Nympha AC were the trainers.
