ICYM Farla Unit organises Yuva Disha - 2018

29th July, 2018 : ICYM Farla Unit organised Yuva Disha - 2018, A youth gathering programme on Sunday, 29th July 2018 at 9:00 AM in Velankanni Church Hall for the youth of Farla Unit under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Cloudy Vas. The day began with the Holy Eucharistic Celebration followed by the breakfast at sharp 9:00 AM.

The programme commenced with a prayer dance. Mr. Steevan Robert Fernandes - Unit President, ICYM Farla Unit welcomed the gathering. The inaugural programme was presided over by Rev. Fr. Cloudy Vas along with Mrs. Irine Albuquerque - Vice - President, Parish Pastoral Council, Mr. Thomas Menezes, Mrs. Sunitha Baptist - YCS Animator, President and Secretary - ICYM Pallotti Youth Farla were present for the inaugural programme. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries on the dias. Rev. Fr. Cloudy Vas addressed the gathering and inspired the youth with his encouraging words and also stressed that youth should be acceptable with love and care. Mrs. Irine Albuquerque addressed the gathering and, stressed the need of being united in order to keep ICYM members energetic. Ms. Flexita Dsilva - Unit Secretary, ICYM Farla Unit proposed the vote of thanks by thanking all the dignitaries got their presence and love.

Rev. Fr. Cloudy Vas gave an inspirational talk on leadership, time management. Rev. Fr. Ashwin Lohith Cardoza, Assistant Director - ICYM Mangalore Diocese enlightened the youth to grab the opportunities and how to develop self - confidence and also inspired the youth to be a member of Parish Pastoral Council and serve the church. After Post Lunch Session Rev. Fr. Melwyn and Rev. Fr. Jason entertained the youth by conducting various games and activities. The programme concluded at 5:30 pm. A total of 45 youth were present for the programme. The programme was well planned and organized which has benefited the youth of Farla and a fun filled day with fun, knowledge and entertainment and day a to remember.
