ICYM Orientation Program St. Anthony’s Church at Karehalli

The ICYM unit of Karehalli had an orientation program conducted by Fr. Ronald Veigas. Arul Mary the diocesan Joint Secretary welcomed the gathering. Rev. Dr. Anthony Peter the parish priest was present for the program. In his address he said the number of the youth in the parish are less as many of them are out of the parish for education and employment purpose, yet all the youth who are residing in the parish can make a difference being active and even can arrange programs for rest of the youth whenever they come home for holidays. The ICYM members decided to have a parish youth day in the month of December. Karehalli being a shrine of St. Anthony and a relic of the saint has already arrived from Padua, Italy to the parish the youth of the parish will be fully engaged in installation ceremony of the same along with other parishioners. The resource person of the day Fr. Ronald Veigas motivated the youth with his dynamic session, conducted group dynamics and taught action songs. He also appealed the youth of the parish to take part in the diocesan level training programs.
