ICYM Bantwal unit celebrates Laudato Si Sunday

25th November, 2018: ICYM Bantwal Unit along with the whole church community undertook a unique programme called "Laudato Si Sunday" on November 25 th 2018. This was initiated in the Mangalore Diocese by Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha by paying reverence to the words of Pope Francis towards conservation of nature.

Rev. Fr Walter Dmello - Parish Priest, Bantwal church distributed a sapling each to all the ward heads and also leaflets containing information about the Laudato si movement. The ward heads were instructed to plant the saplings and look after it under the slogan 'Protection of environment is our duty'.
