The diocesan Office for YCS / YSM Movement had facilitated 32 students from different schools and parishes of the diocese. The diocesan director Fr. Ronald Veigas was also one of the resource persons. There were 4 animators part of this program.

Leaders are not born they are made. The YCS / YSM national office has been making constant effort in this venture of making leaders and building leadership in the young under the able leadership of the National Chaplain Fr. Charles Menezes. Keeping view in of the national thrust the YCS National Office had arranged National Students Leadership Training program at Mangalore from 5-9 November 2014 at Shanti kiran Bajjodi, Mangalore.

Based on the YCS / YSM methodology SEE - JUDGE - ACT - EVALUATE, the students were exposed to the realities of life around them by sending them to public places like market, dump yard Bus stand etc…it was followed by talks on reflective part….. The present situations were analyzed and students were facilitated to internalize and personalize the learning’s for a self change. The history of the movement, its methodology and spirituality of the movement were explained to the students. The practical cell meetings were conducted in view of teaching them to follow in their respective units. Actions songs were part of the movement’s synergy.
