ICYM Mogarnad Unit of Mangalore Organized "Road safety Awareness"

2nd October, 2017: Indian Catholic youth movement, St. John Paul 2nd Mogarnad deanary organized "Road safety Awareness" program in collaboration with Traffic police station Bantwal on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi.

This program was held on 2nd October 2017 Monday Afternoon at 2pm at Melkar junction, 3pm at Kalladka junction and concluded at 5pm at Vitla junction.

Rev. Fr. Henry Dsouza, Director of Icym Mogarnad Deanery inaugurated the program by sticking some meaningful quotes on vehicles. SI, Vittal Shetty and ASI, Balakrishna Gowda delivered speeches on road accidents, safety precautions and driving rules to the gathered public.

ICYM Mogarnad Deanery president Joy Crasta, secretary Sujay Lobo, presidents from all 7 parishes, ICYM Manglore Diocese vice president Ashwin Sequeira were present for the program along with supportive youths from Mogarnad deanery.

Public co-operation was very good. Handbills and stickers about Road safety were distributed to the gathered public. Viyon Veigas welcomed the gathering and conducted the whole program.
