Syro Malankara Qurbana at IX National Youth Convention in Jalandhar, Punjab

The Holy Mass on the 7th Day of the ongoing IX National Youth Convention was celebrated in Syro Malanakara Rite on 11th October, 2013.

To promote unity among all the youth from all over India from all the three rites in India, the ICYM organized the Holy Mass in Syro Malankara Rite. His Lordship, Dr. Jacob Mar Barnabas, Apostolic Visitator and the Vice Chairman of the CBCI Office for Youth, officiated the Holy Qurbana.

The Introduction and the commentary during the Qurbana made the whole celebration of very meaningful and full of devotion.

Speaking about the experience of attending Holy Qurbana for the first time, a delegate from West Bengal Region said, “This is the first time I am attending Mass in Syro Malankara Rite. I feel so privileged to attend a deeply Spiritual Holy Qurbana. And I thank ICYM for giving me this opportunity.”

The Holy Mass in Syro Malankara Rite was a new experience for most of the delegates from all over India.
