Have an 360˚ view said FR Cheathan Lobo addressing the young reporters of Udupi diocese on 18thAugust 2013 organized by the youth commission of the Diocese of Udupi under the guidance of the youth director of the Diocese FR Edwin D’souza.

Take pride to tell who you are & be proud to be who you are said FR Cheathan shifting our attention to the topic of NEWS said FR Cheathan - see , listen , analyze & publish. He said have an critical attitude & put an habbit of asking deeper questions & don’t always expect answers. He also spoke about the various media of publish.

He taught the assembly about the procedure of reporting or writing a report , the newsworthyness of the report & to be able to judge the impact of the report while reporting.

In the afternoon session moving on to the broader topic of Journalism utterd the resource person-today’s news is tomorrows history drawing our attention towards the code of ethics of Journalism. He stressed on the need for objective reporting & presenting of facts.

To conclude there was a small valuation of the whole day’s session, the youth shared their experiences, thanked & showed their gratitude to the resource person.
