ICYM Kelarai organized “YUVA EKVOT-2017”

3rd September, 2017: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Kelarai unit organized a one day youth orientation programme –“YUVA EKVOT-2017” on September 3rd, 2017.

The programme began with the prayer song led by Denzil Pereira and team as an invocation of God’s blessings. The chief guest of the programme was Rev. Fr Joachim Fernandes, the Parish Priest of Kelarai Parish, along with Rev Fr Vernon vas, the residential Priest, Mr.Harold Monteiro,Vice President parish council and Mr.Edwin vas,Aimator Icym Kelarai unit. Rev. Fr Joachim Fernandes, inaugurated the programme and on the occasion extended good wishes and his blessings on the programme. Floid Noronha President Icym Kelarai unit, welcomed the gathering. Jasmine Dsilva Secretary Icym Kelarai unit, extended the vote of thanks. A short ice breaker by Mr. Jackson Dcosta was held.The programme followed with a talk on the topic, “Responsibility of the youth in the society” by Mr. Alwyn Agrar who was the resource person of the day. Joyline Dsilva compered the Programme.

The afternoon session was full of dance, songs, games and a whole lot of fun. Mr. Roshan Rocco Vamanjoor & team performed some action songs. The ICYM Mangalore Diocese council of 2017-2018 and the City deanery team conducted exciting games for the youth.. Rev Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza, the director of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Elroy Saldanha President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, visited the program and extended their good wishes to the youth. The program was concluded with a Mangalorean Baila.
