Yuva Parzal-2017 at ICYM Farla, Mangalore

17th August, 2017: In view of bringing together the youth of the church Yuva Parzal 2017 a youth gathering was organised on On 13th August, 2017 under the guidance of Rev.Fr. Paul. The day began with the Holy Eucharist then followed by formal inauguration at 10.30am.

The programme began with a prayer song. Mr.Steeven President ICYM, Farla welcomed the gathering, then all the dignitaries lighted the lamp. The programme was presided over by Rev. Fr. Paul Cutinha, the parish priest. Fr. Ronald D’souza Director - ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Rev. Fr. Jason D’Souza , Fr. Melwyn Menezes, Mrs. Irine Albuquerque Secretory of PPC, Mr. Elroy Saldana President - ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Mrs Sunitha Baptist YCS Animator, Mr. Prakash Veigas President - ICYM Bantwal Deanery were present for the programme

Rev. Fr. Paul inspired youth with his encouraging words and stressed that youth should be accepted with love and care. Rev.Fr. Ronald guided the youth about what it means to be an ICYM youth. he also enlightened the youth about their duties and responsibiliteis. Mrs.Irine Albuquerque stressed the need of being united to keep the ICYM energetic. Then Miss. Flexita Secretary of ICYM Farla thanked dignitaries for their presence and love.

The inauguratl programme was followed by a session animated by Rev. Fr. Richard D’Souza. He inspired the youth with his insightful thoughts on the the presence and role of youth in the society. Miss Nirma D’Souza enlightened the gathering about the relationship between PPC and ICYM and exhorted the youth to take PPC membership and serve the Parish. After the lunch Fr. Melwyn and Fr. Jason entertained the youth by conducting various games. The programme came to an end at 5 pm. Fifty young people participated in Yuva Parzal and went with shining faces.
