Agenda - Resource mobilisation for RYC

Fr Mari Joseph and Fr Lourde led the prayer and recited RYC Prayer with the members present.

Vipin Paul, Abide co-ordinator welcomed the gathering and he read the Report of last meeting.

Members present - Fr Mari Joseph, Fr Lourde, Jose Jacob, Vipin Paul, Martin P, Gilbert, Leo, Cyril, Bryan and REXCO.

On the occasion of feast and friendship day, Abide team celebrated and exchanged cake with ICYM REXCO.

Mr Jose Jacob gave insight on the work and progress till date. Mr Gilbert suggested to contact previous awardee and nominees both at national and regional level for their achievements.

Achievers magazine will contain success stories of past ICYMers and these stories will inspire the present and future generation to follow the footsteps of the Achiever, by learning from their experiences in that particular field. A team of journalists will work on Achievers Magazine and stories will be published in alphabetic order for which each member is given a target of 3 stories. A letter for fund raising for RYC 2019 will be send to DYDs from ABIDE which requests the DYDs to send nominations. An article/story will be used for marketing purposes hence will be charged a nominal fee of ?10,000 per 2 pages and total of 10 stories per diocese. A registered post, message and email to be sent at the earliest from the office regarding the same. Vipin Paul is given the responsibility of the same within coming Wednesday.

Fr Lourde gave insight on RYC preparations till date and updated ABIDE team on the same - venue, number of participants per parish to be 2 person, committee details were given out.

Fr Mari Joseph, Chaplain gave insight on convention and working from his vast experience in conducting conventions.

Later on Jose Jacob shared his views on finance and present day market and he suggested that it would be great if an employment fair is kept in collaboration with private players which in turn will give more participants for convention. Bryan and Cyril were given the responsibility to coordinate job fair at RYC if organising team agrees for the same.

Abide team will have a/c opened under KRYC with 2 signatories. A dummy copy of the magazine to be presented at next meeting which will be held on September 15, 2019. In the absence of Abilash P A, Martin P will take over the charge as ABIDE Treasurer.

The team dispersed and ABIDE Chaplain, President, Coordinator and Treasurer continued their meeting with ICYM REXCO to share their experiences and help them with their responsibilities for better execution. Suggestions from ABIDE team, REXCO to divide the huge amount in the dividends of ?5,000 from each sponsors to reach stipulated amount easier, Promote RYC cross journey, registeration to be looked into and followed up and REXCO team to have more meetings.
