Minutes Of Meeting Members present
ABIDE core committee meeting was held at KRCBC Youth Commission Office, Bangalore on May 23, 2019. The meeting started at 5.30 pm with a prayer led by Rev. Fr Mari Joseph, Chaplain. He then guided the members present about upcoming events like RYC and AYD and asked ABIDE to be a supporting factor in terms of resource planning and financial aid for the events. He mentioned to have a general body meeting consisting of all members of ABIDE at 2 places - Bangalore and Bellary.

Abide Coordinator addresses the Deacons on youth ministry in Bangalore
9 April 2018: Mr Martin the Coordinator of Abide and the former ICYM President of Karnataka addressed the Theology students on youth mininstry at symposium organized by Kentenich Vidyanikethan (Thoelogy study house of Shuwenstatt congregation) on 8 April 2018 in Jalahalli, Bangalore.
In his speech Mr Martin reiterated the need of youth animators being friendly with the youth to support them. He was grateful to the ICYM for having him the platform to rise and shine in the society and the church.

Youth to witness Jesus Christ in different walks of life
Indian catholic youth movement, Mangalore Diocese had organized the conference 2018 a diocesan conference father the youth of Mangalore diocese at St.Jude church Pakshikere with the theme 'youth to witness Jesus Christ in different walks of life.' Around 1000 plus youth were part of this conference. Responding to their invitation as a abide member i got an opportunity to witness the programme. To give a moral support to the local council team and wish them a grand success for their programme.

CAT Programme for the New Directors
10 June, 2017: Bangalore, 10 June 2017; CAT (Chaplains & Animators Training) Programme was organized at KROSS, Bangalore by the CBCI Youth Council from 1 to 10 June 2017. The programme was attendant by 40 youth directors, animators and youth leaders from different dioceses of India.
Three youth directors (Fr Cleavan, DYD of Gulbarga Diocese, Fr Prem OFM, DYD of Ballary diocese, Fr Anil, RYD) and two Lady animators (Sr Stephena and Sr Virginia DYLA of Bangalore Diocese) of Karnataka Region took part in the CAT programme.

Adieu to Fr Mari Welcome to Fr Anil the RYDs
The KRYC outgoing secretary Fr Mari Joe was given farewell and the incoming secretary Fr Anil D’sa was welcomed and installed as the RYD on 13 May 2017 at KROSS, Bangalore. 18th Council of Karnataka Regional Youth Commission
The 18th council of Karnataka Regional Youth Commission commenced at 10:00 a.m. in the conference hall of KROSS on 13th May 2017. Mr.Vipin Paul, the President of ICYM Karnataka Region welcomed the gathering. The special guests for the council were Rev. Bishop Henry Dsouza, the chairman of CBCI Youth Commission, Fr. Deepak KJ Thomas, the National Youth Director of ICYM and Mr. Sijo Ambatt, the National Youth President of ICYM.

Evaluation Meeting of National Youth Convention - 2017
12 March, 2017, Bengaluru: Evaluation of National Youth Convention - 2017 from REXCO and Abide members of Karnataka took Place at Regional Youth Office. The meeting started with reading of the Gospel passage and reflection at 9.00 am. Regional president Vipin welcomed the gathering. Michael the joint secretary presented the previous REXCO meeting report then Evaluation of National Youth Convention-2017 took place. There were 18 members from REXCO and Abide.

X National Youth Convention concludes with Mega Peace rally
The First ever National Catholic Youth Peace rally was held in heart of the city. J.R Lobo, MLA Mangaluru South Constituency, Ivan D'Souza, MLC & Chief Whip of Legislative Council Govt of Karnataka released the pigeons and declared the peace rally open. Most Rev. Bernard Moras, Archbishop of Bengaluru Flagged off the Rally which started off from Rosario Cathedral and concluded at St Aloysius college grounds.

Formation of ICYM Alumni Karnataka
The meeting between both present and past Rexco’s to bring back the old Rexco’s and recognizing their contributions for the ICYM.
