International Youth Day Celebration At Holy Rosay Church
Holy Rosary Church celebrated International youth day on 20th Sunday August 2023 at Venkatal,under the guidance of Fr.GregoryMariyappa the Parish priest. The lead opened up by DnMahesh SDB who helpedwith his advice to motivate the youth to fight their fears to shoulder the responsibilities in organising the day’s celebration levelling all the incredulous gaps. The candle procession lead all the rest. The positive vibe of the Holy Eucharist brought the enthusiastic youth with the commanding lead. And in unison they swore on oath to be the soldiers of Christfor the church and their co-operation to the parish priest. They beseeched the blessings of God with the lighting of the lamp to illumine their path to guide them to truth and knowledge. The catechism learners and their teachers witnessed the full display of the items along with their parents which in addition brought a respite to the expectations of the crowd who gathered on this day as our youth enthralled themwith their performance.Fr. John Vianney spoke on the impact the youth can have in the church and society by their charitable service to the poor. To give it a complete ending, the youth president Sham expressed his gratitude to the parish priest and everyone who supported them in this effort to celebrate the World day of Youth.
