TUBERCULOSIS DAY

On 28th March, 2024 on the occasion of Tuberculosis Day, the All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) members from AICUF Karnataka collaborated with the Bruhat Bengaluru MahanagaraPalike (BBMP) Health Center to organize an awareness drive in and around Shanthinagar.

The event aimed to raise awareness about tuberculosis (TB), its symptoms, prevention, and treatment. AICUFer's and BBMP Health Center staff worked together to educate the community about the importance of early detection and treatment of TB to prevent its spread.

The awareness drive included various activities such as poster exhibitions, and interactive sessions. AICUFer's and BBMP Health Center staff engaged with the local community, distributed informational pamphlets, and answered questions to dispel myths and misconceptions about TB.

The collaboration between AICUF Karnataka and BBMP Health Center was instrumental in reaching a large audience and spreading awareness about TB in Shanthinagar and its surrounding areas. The event served as a reminder of the importance of collective efforts in combating TB and promoting public health.
