ICYM Madanthyar unit organizes Swatch Bharath Abhiyan

25th November, 2018: ICYM Madanthyar unit in collaboration with YCS Madanthyar, SDM Committee, Belthangady Taluk Madanthyar ward, Gram Panchyath, Madanthyar and Maladi, JCI Madanthyar and with few more associations had organized Swatch Bharath Abhiyan on Sunday 25th November 2018 in Madanthyar town.

All the members of various associations gathered near “Ashadeepa” road at 9:45 AM. The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr Alwyn Dsouza - Assistant Parish Priest, Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar accompanied by the presidents of the associations. Madanthyar town was cleaned from the Asha deepa road to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church by the gathering. “Plastic Free Environment” was the message conveyed to everyone by organizing the programme. As a great motivator to the youth Rev. Fr Basil Vas - Parish Priest, Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar joined hands with the youth for the Swatch Bharath Abhiyan programme.
