Lingasgur Deanery Youth Seminar

March 23rd 2014: “Together we shall make a world of difference” under this theme Lingasgur Deanary youth seminar was organized by diocesan youth commission which took place at Sacred Heart Church, Mudgal. On 23rd March 2014 - urged the catholic youth to bring Changes in the society. The seminar began with Prayer service conducted by Rev. Fr. Alphonse George, the Director of Diocesan youth. Rev. Fr.Gnanaprakash, Rev. Sr. Valsa John,the superior of St. Ann’s Convent, Mudgal. Sr. Maria Aharanna, Sr. Irudaya were present for the Inaugural Programme. Sr. Valsa John in her inaugural address said “our Catholic youth are Back bone of the Church”. Fr. Gnanaprakash the resource person of the day cited apt examples, used games, action songs to elicit initiative from the youth. He also encouraged the youth to take active part in the spiritual activities in the parish. Fr. Ponnusamy the parish priest of K.M Halli insisted more on the discipleship.
