ICYM Vijayadka Unit celebrates National Youth Sunday

5th August, 2018 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Vijayadka Unit celebrated National Youth Sunday on 5 th August 2018 at 07:45 am mass in St. Lawrence Church Vijayadka . The Conference of Catholic Bishops of India ( C.C.B.I ) observed and celebrated National Youth Sunday with the theme Youth, Faith and Vocational Discernment on Sunday 5th August 2018 across India. To mark this auspicious occasion, ICYM members of Vijayadka Unit celebrated National Youth Sunday by taking part in the Holy Eucharistic Celebration as well by conducting Sunday Liturgy. Rev Fr Michael Mascarenhas celebrated the Holy Eucharist Celebration and specially prayed for all the youths. Leesha Dsouza read out the introduction, 1 st reading was read by Rajesh, Psalm by Jeevan Prakash Dsouza , 2 nd reading by Shreya Dsouza and prayers of faithful were read by Naveen and Samson. As a token of love youth offered offerings to the church. All ICYM Members participated in the Holy Eucharist Celebration and conducted Novena prayer to St. Lawrence along with the parishioners. Altogether it was a blessed and a meaningful day to all the youth and a day to remember.
