6th National Youth Conference Jalandhar - 21st to 25th Oct 2024.

The 6th National Youth Conference, organized by the Indian National Youth Movement (ICYM), took place in Jalandhar from October 21-25, 2024. The event brought together 450 youth, directors, and animators across India. Karnataka Region was represented by 52 participants from eight dioceses, along with Fr. Lourd Raj, the Regional Youth Director, who actively engaged in sessions and workshops. The Karnataka delegation led an animation song session, teaching it to fellow delegates, and showcased the region's rich heritage through fascinating cultural performances. Two youths from the region, Ashley D’Souza and Nevin Antony, received the prestigious National Young Achievers Award! The conference concluded on October 25th, inspiring participants to become instruments of transformation.
