Prayers of Solidarity: Standing with the wrongfully accused

In response to the tragic event of the mistaken arrest of Fr. Dominic Pinto the RYD, on February 5 th 2024, the ICYM of Karnataka youth commission organized an Online Rosary in support of him. Led by RYD Fr. Lourd Raj and the Regional team, the online Rosary took place on February 7, 2024, at 7.30 pm, allowing Karnataka regional youth to participate. Nearly one hundred youth, along with the directors, joined in offering prayers for Fr. Dominic Pinto. Additionally, in several Karnataka parishes, young people gathered to pray for him.

Likewise, on the same day, at 8.15 pm, Fr. Ashwin Cardoza, the DYD of Mangalore diocese, conducted an Online Rosary with his diocesan youth team intensifying the fervour of prayers. Through his introduction and Gospel reflections, Fr. Ashwin stirred the emotions of the youth, guiding them into a heartfelt and profound prayer before the Lord. Their prayers stormed the heavens, pleading for the safety and immediate release of Fr. Dominic Pinto.
