YCS Shirva Deanery Beginner’s Camp – 2024

Udupi Diocese pioneered a new chapter with it’s first-ever Deanery Beginner’s Camp on July 21 st , 2024, at Pernal Church hall, Shirva! 110 enthusiastic first PUC students got together on the YCS journey. Sweedal Mendonca’s warm welcome and the dignitaries grace-filled presence set the tone. Inspirational speeches and interactive sessions with Fr. Steven Fernandes, Fr. Jerome Monterio, Fr. Pascal Menezes, Fr. Ronson Pinto, Richard Alvares, Maria Jacintha Furtado, Anson Nazareth and Joshua Fernandes, kindled interest. Dr. Leslie Clifford D’Souza’s impactful message emphasized Cardinal Joseph Cardijin’s principles. This camp came to an end instilling values and motivating empowered young minds, shaping future YCS leaders to carry forward the YCS mission.
