New ICYM team is formed at St. Anthony's shrine Bandihatti, Ballari

6 August, 2017: The ICYM unit at St. Anthony shrine at Bandihatti elects new team to lead the unit for two years (2017-2019) on 02 July 2017. Before the election, Rev. Fr. Prem Dsouza, the Diocesan Youth Director gave an orientation on leadership and the need of youth movement in the church. The programme was attended by 22 ICYM members.

In the second part of the programme the election for the year 2017 – 2019 was conducted. In a peaceful and dignified election process following youth emerged the winners and took of the leadership to guide the unit at parish level.

Rev. Fr. Gnanaprakasm L., the parish priest took keen interest in the formation of the youth group in the parish and facilitated the orientation programme. Fr Prem extended his support to the parish and the youth in guiding the youth movement in the parish.
