Zonal Youth Meet at Don Bosco, Hasan

Don Bosco, Hasan Bosco Hosted the Zoanl BoscoYouth Meet on 11th November 2012 in which about 100 Bosco youth from Pavur, Bhadravathi, Joseph Nagar and Hasan took part. The One day Youth meet was inaugurated by Rev Fr John PK sdb (Rector, Don Bosco Tech. Hasan). He explained the predilection of Don Bosco for the youth and assured that the love of Don Bosco for the young will be continued through the salesians. Fr Aloysius sdb (Parish Priest, Holy Cross Church, Pavur) the chief guest of the youth meet exhorted the youth to come together for constructive purposes and make this world a better place. Fr Anil Dsa (Director – Bosco Youth, Karnataka), Fr Lawrence (Youth director – Bhadravathi), Br Johnson sdb (Administrator, Don Bosco Hasan), Mr David (Youth animator- Joseph Nagar), Mr Balaswamy (Youth animator – Hasan), Br Jomy and others were the dignitaries of the programme.

The inaugural session on “youth and career” was animated by Prof. Shivaih (Principal, Hasan Bed College). Bosco youth concept was explained by Fr Anil Dsa who also facilitated the youth leaders and the animators to make the action plan for the zone and units. Holy Eucharist celebrated by Fr Lawrence sdb for the catholic students and prayer service by Fr Arogyaraj for the non-Catholics made the participants get a touch of the almighty.

Zonal President Mr Felix lead the youth to prayer and the Secretary Mr Suresh of Pavur proposed vote of thanks. The programme was compiered by Ms Mary D’souza the treasurer. The programme was ably organised by Fr Arogya Raj (Zonal Youth Coordinator ) with help of the community and the Zonal Office bearers of Bosco Youth. Sumptuous meal, detailed arrangements and thought provoking input sessions made the youth meet a memorable one for all the participants.
