ICYM Cascia Unit celebrates National Youth Sunday

5th August, 2018 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Cascia Unit celebrated National Youth Sunday on 5th August 2018 during 8:00 am mass at St. Rita Church Cascia. The Conference of Catholic Bishops of India ( C.C.B.I ) observed and celebrated National Youth Sunday with the theme Youth, Faith and Vocational Discernment on Sunday 5th August 2018 across India. To mark this auspicious occasion, ICYM members of Cascia Unit celebrated National Youth Sunday by taking part in the Holy Eucharistic Celebration as well by conducting Sunday Liturgy. Rev Fr Harold Mascarenhas Parish Priest celebrated the Holy Eucharistic Celebration and specially prayed for all the youths. ICYM members offered offerings in large number and celebrated the Holy Eucharistic Celebration in a sacred way. On this special day ICYM Members paid a visit to an ashram named Karunamayya trust which is located at Jeppu Kudpady. On account of National Youth Sunday as a token of love ICYM members donated needful items to the ashram and spent some quality time with the inmates of Karunamayya trust. In this way ICYM Cascia Unit Members celebrated National Youth Sunday as a day to remember.
