KRYC Core Committee Meeting

8th January, 2018: The Coordinators and presidents of the regional movement met at KRYC office, Bangalore on 7 January 2018. The Karnataka Regional Youth Commission (KRYC) is the Youth Commission of Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishops Council (KRCBC) which coordinates the youth ministry at the regional level. A lot of efforts have been made by the former secretaries and chairpersons of the youth commission to coordinate the all the regional youth movements and make the youth ministry vibrant in the region.

It was desired to form a core team for KRYC comprising of all the coordinators and presidents of the Regional Youth Movements. Hence the presidents and the coordinators of regional movements came together to discuss ways and means to strengthen the KRYC and be effective in coordinating the youth ministry in Karnataka. Fr Anil the KRYC Secretary welcomed the members and explained the purpose of the meeting. It was followed by brain storming of ideas in forming an executive body and future plan of action. It was decided to have a General body meeting with all the council members of the regional movements on 4th February 2018 in Bangalore. The meeting came to an end at 4.30pm with all the members agreeing to be part of KRYC and to work together to empower the youth of Karnataka and grow in catholic faith.
