Diocesan Youth retreat Bhadravathi, Jan 11th-13th, 2013

Diocesan youth retreat began at Karuna Nilaya Machenahalli on 6 P.M with 85 youths from the different parishes of the diocese. The retreat started with the inaugural Holy mass celebration by the Chancellor of Bhadravathi Diocese Very Rev.Fr.Francis Allumpuram. Following the Holy mass the official inauguration ceremony was held, where by the chief guest Rev.Fr.Mari Joseph Director of KRYC, officially inaugurated the function by lightening the lamps. Rev.Fr.Emmanuel, Director Karuna Nilaya, Miss Anusha Vice-President KRYC and Rev.Fr.Subash Director ICYM Bhadravathi Diocese were at the stage

The Retreat was conducted by Holyhome Evangelization Community, Kasargode. Mr.Sunny Kokkapillil, Mr.Jomon , Mr.Shiju and Mr.Jose Pullat were the team members.

The second day of retreat was allotted for Confession and Inner Healing. The preacher mainly concentrated on how to prepare oneself for the confession. The confession started soon after the lunch and there were five priests for Confession. After that, began the Holy Mass, celebrated by Very Rev.Fr.Jose Anthyamkulam, Vicar General of Bhadravathi Diocese. There was an inner healing Adoration after the Eucharistic celebration followed by one hour cultural program by the diffrentle abled children of Karuna Nilaya.

The third day, Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev.Fr.Francis Kulathingal followed by the personal experience and life sharing of Mr.Venkatesh and Miss.Jessy who were brought up through Jesus youth movement .The concluding ceremony was began at 4’o clock and it was blessed by the presence of His Excellency Mar Joseph Arumachadath,Bishop of Bhadravathi Diocese. Through His message he inspired the youth gathered and challenged them to live a life for Christ through faith and charity.
