Belgaum hosts ICYM Youth pilgrimage to Nandgad- the Miraculous Cross

19th March, 2018 : The Belgaum Diocese youth commission organized a day of Youth Pilgrimage on 18 March 2018 at Nandgad. About 500 youth from various parishes of Belgaum diocese took part in the event.

The Pilgrimage began at 9.30 with an orientation session at the shrine and the youth went in procession to the Miracolous Cross. Reaching to top of the mountain the youth had ‘Way of the Cross led by the youth leaders. The youth from various parishes of Belgaum diocese along with their youth animators took part in this spiritual journey. The way of the Cross was followed by Adoration Service conducted by Fr Anil Dsa sdb, the Regional Youth Director.

Most. Rev. Peter Machado Presided over the mass and broke the word of God. The bishop applauded the diocesan youth commission for orgainsing the programme. He thanked Fr Harry Victor the youth director, St Kavitha the Lady Animator, Fr Edward and others for having put in effort in bringing together the youth.

Many priest and nuns from the diocese were present for the programme.
