ICYM Episcopal City Deanery in collaboration with ICYM Tannirbavi unit celebrates Friendship Day with the theme “YAARON KA DIWAS - 2K19”

4th August, 2019 : ICYM Episcopal City Deanery in collaboration with ICYM Tannirbavi unit celebrated Friendship Day with the theme “YAARON KA DIWAS - 2K19” on Sunday, 4th August 2019 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Tannirbavi Tree Park.

The programme commenced at 4:00PM with a prayer song led by the members of ICYM Tannirbavi Unit. Enola Lesny Coelho, Tannirbavi welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr Anil Pinto – Director, ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, Leon Loyed Saldanha, Bendur – Diocesan Youth President, ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Minol Mrinaline Braggs – Public Relations Officer, ICYM Mangalore Diocese and Diocesan Youth Representative for ICYM Episcopal City Deanery from ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Delitia Asumptha Pereira – President, ICYM Episcopal City Deanery and th e total of 90 youths were present for the programme.

Rev. Fr Anil Pinto in his message explained the importance of friendship day and unity among the youths. Birthday Buddies of August month celebrated their birthday by cutting birthday cake and sharing their joy and happiness as a mark of their Birthday Celebration in the month of August. Ice breaker session was conducted by Rev. Fr Anil Pinto. Amazing games such as gunny bag race, snatch the bottle, photo pose, tug of war, catching the balloon were conducted by the Executive members of ICYM Episcopal City Deanery.

Rev. Fr Anil Pinto thanked all the members of ICYM Episcopal City Deanery for their active participation in the programme. Enola Lesny Coelho compered the programme. On the whole, “YAARON KA DIWAS-2K19” was a fun filled memorable evening in making new friends, various games and entertainment enthralled the youths of the deanery and a day to remember.
