Youth Leaders of ICYM Cathedral Deanery were Applauded

Rev.Fr. John Rose (Dean of Cathedral Deanery & the parish priest of the Ascension Church) applauded the youth leaders of his deanery for coming together as deanery for the Parish Youth Leaders’ Meet on Saturday 11 September 2021 at St Jude’s Church Naganapalya, Bangalore. He exhorted them to be strongly rooted in their faith, have a purpose in life and excel in the talents and gifts God has endowed them with.

Rev.Fr. Anil D'sa, Director of Bangalore Archdiocese, took a session on Dynamics of Indian Catholic Youth Movement. Icebreaking sessions, games and fun activities made the youth participate in the session enthusiastically. Evaluation of the deanery level past activities and action plan for the future was prepared taking suggestions from the youth leaders. Mr. Sebe Mathew concluded the session by sharing his experience of being part of ICYM NEXCO member.

Rev. Fr. Vivian Richard (Asst. Youth Director of Bangalore & the parish priest of St. Jude Thaddeus Church), Sr. Angeline (ICYM Lady Youth Animator), Rev.Fr. Sampath (The join secretary of the youth commission), Mr. Sebe Matthew (ICYM NEXCO) along with Youth leaders from 10 parishes of Cathedral Deanery came together for the gathering. Total of 60 participants graced the occasion.

Mr. Melwyn Amrithraj, Cathedral Deanery president welcomed and thanked all the participants the gathering. Mr. Sebastian the youth president and team of Don Bosco Church, Lingarajpura had led the group into prayer. Mr. Prince Ivan and Ms. Roseline were the MC for the meet.
