Youth United for Christ (YU4C) is the official youth movement of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in India, functioning under the National Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (NCCRS) – CHARIS India, and recognized by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India.

YU4C was established to unite, empower, and guide young people to experience a personal relationship with Jesus Christ while actively participating in the life and mission of the Catholic Church. The movement creates a vibrant platform for youth to grow spiritually, develop leadership skills, build meaningful relationships, and become witnesses of Christ in society.

Officially launched during KAIROS 2008 in Mumbai, YU4C emerged from various youth initiatives of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal across India, including the Torchbearers for Christ in Mumbai, Hosanna Youth in Bengaluru, Youth for Christ in Delhi, and Young Christian Shepherds in Goa.

Following the guidance of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India, youth ministries under the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in dioceses and regions across the country adopted the common identity of YU4C – Youth United for Christ.
