Karnataka regional Youth Directors Meeting at Shanthi Kiran, Bajjodi, Mangalore.
Mangalore, February 7, 2026: The Youth Directors’ Meeting of the Karnataka Region was organized by Regional Youth Director Fr. Ashwin Cardoza, at Shanthi Kiran, Bajjodi, on February 3, 2026. The Meeting began at 5.00 pm. Firstly, the Directors introduced themselves and shared information about their youth ministry within the diocese. Then Fr. Ashwin led the discussion on the agenda for 2026.

Agenda highlights were as follows:
Information regarding MIjarc elections, Reporting format, and the READY program (along with movements), Pastoral plan, Visit to diocese and movements, KRYC souvenir, E-magazine/print magazines, Affiliation fees(national and regional), Hosting next KRYC convention, Hosting YCSYSM convention, Training and empowerment of YCS/YSM units and council meetings, World Youth Day 2027, Taize information, National Meeting information, National conference, national memorandum, national Flag, National ICYM anthem, National Youth Conference, 16-20 October), DYD meeting (19-21 August), Dibrugargh, ACT program, National YCS Council Meeting, ICYM council meeting, pilgrimages and general matters.
The meeting was concluded with a collective prayer and a call for continued collaboration across all dioceses and movements to realise the shared vision for youth ministry in Karnataka. RYD Fr. Ashwin thanked everyone for attending the meeting.
