UDUPI DEXCO ELECTION AND GENERAL BODY MEETING

Jan 14 th , 2024, ICYM Udupi organized the DEXCo elections 2024 and its annual general body meeting at Anugraha pastoral centre. Following a leadership training session for all unit members and ordinary office bearers, facilitated by the DYD from Mangalore, 130 youths participated. Fr. Ashwin presided as the election office, elucidating the rules, eligibility criteria, and the election process. Fr. Steven announced the nominations received for various posts, leading to elections conducted by Fr. Ashwin. Subsequently, a general body meeting ensued, where the youth director expounded on the ICYM memorandum and the integral rules. A valedictory program, followed by a handing over ceremony and oath-taking, marked the conclusion of the event, inaugurating the newly elected Dexco of the diocese of Udupi.
