Jeevan Jyothi Camp

The Youth Commission of the Diocese of Gulbarga organized the Jeevan Jyothi Camp on 10-13 October, 2024, at Infant Jesus Shrine, Balki, and sparked flame in the hearts of 96 tenth graders, inspiring them with the theme “New Steps in New Dreams.” In the opening ceremony the Bishop of Gulbarga Rt. Rev. Dr. Robert Micheal Miranda urged the students to embrace faith, family prayer and avoid self- comparison. The 18 dedicated priests and sisters equipped the students with valuable life skills on topics like love, leadership, and the importance of faith. The group activities and campfire cultivated teamwork and cooperation. It concluded with a lively cultural program of diverse talents. Guided by experienced mentors, the participants left with cherished memories. The diocesan youth director Fr. Sachin Christy with a team of dedicated animators wonderfully executed the activities of the camp. The diocese of Gulbarga expressed gratitude to all who contributed to this transformative experience.
