Karnataka Regional Youth Commission (KRYC) and Janadhare Trust lend helping hands to affected people

The massive flood created havoc among southern Karnataka. Understanding the need of hour, Karnataka Regional Youth Commission (KRYC) and Janadhare Trust collected flood relief materials through the help of local other many small organizations of neighboring parishes and shared the same to affected areas like Chikmagalur, Kodugu and Keral.

People were generous enough to share what they have and could, such as rice, dal, sanitary pads, biscuits, drinking water, cooking oil, clothes, soaps, toiletries. Fr. Lourd Raj, RYD, and Mr. Cyril Prabhu, secretary Janadhare Trust with the help of some local youth and volunteers segregated and dispatched the materials according to the requirements of the people to the different areas in total of three mini truckloads.
