ICYM Permude Unit celebrates National Youth Sunday

5th August, 2018 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Permude Unit celebrated National Youth Sunday on 5th August 2018 during 7:30 am mass at St. John the Baptist Church Permude . The Conference of Catholic Bishops of India ( C.C.B.I ) observed and celebrated National Youth Sunday with the theme Youth, Faith and Vocational Discernment on Sunday 5th August 2018 across India. To mark this auspicious occasion, ICYM members of Permude Unit celebrated National Youth Sunday by taking part in the Holy Eucharistic Celebration as well by conducting Sunday Liturgy. Rev Fr Edwin Vincent Correa Parish Priest celebrated the Holy Eucharistic Celebration and specially prayed for all the youths. ICYM members offered offerings in large number and celebrated the Holy Eucharistic Celebration in a sacred way. On this special day ICYM Permude Unit organized Free Medical Health Camp in association with Srinivas College of Medical Sciences at the church hall. Chief Guest Dr. Ten Singh along with Rev Fr Edwin Vincent Correa inaugurated the programme. ICYM members, parishioners and the general public were present for the inaugural programme. Parishioners and the general public availed benefits of check ups like General check-up, Pediatrics, ENT, Dermatology, ECG etc through this free medical health camp and the programme concluded at 1:00 pm. In this way ICYM Permude Unit Members celebrated National Youth Sunday as a day to remember.
