Report On History Makers 2012

Jesus youth Karnataka nurses ministry organized an 8 day long Leaders Learning Programme (HISTORY MAKERS 2012) for nurses from October 21stto 29th, 2012 at Bangalore.

PARTICIPANTS
About 34 participants from different parts of Karnataka took part in the training. The number of participants from each zone is mentioned below.

Bangalore – 11 Mangalore – 15
Tumkur – 6
Dawangare – 2

RESOURCES
The Programme was blessed with an ample number of resources namely Fr.Mathew, Elvis Anna, Br. Crispin, Fr. Roney, Jose Sebastian, Jebin Sebastian, Jacob Jose, Sanjay Anna, Mathew, Golvin,Shoy, Sunny, Hebin, Santhosh and Jomichan.

Also, Babychayan was available for 4 days of the programme.

INTERCESSION
24 hours intercession in front of Blessed Sacrament was the backbone of the Programme.

PROGRAMME
The Programme started with 2 days of retreat followed by 6 days of training and Training dealt with topics like church, leadership, call and discipleship, self-awareness, JY constants in detail and so on.

There were interactive sessions, prayer meeting demos, discussions, games, experience sharing and the participants were encouraged to build their talents and accept the challenges as JY leader.

The Programme was also supported by a number of volunteers which included last batch HISTORY MAKERS, KJYNT members, and key leaders of Jesus youth Karnataka.

The participants were made familiar with this year’s focus of nurses’ ministry i.e., strengthening of prayer meetings and leadership formation.

The Programme ended with anointing and the participants adopted different zones in Karnataka for their ministry.
