SPIRIT QUEST:YOUCAT TRAINING INSPIRES YOUTH LEADERS

Udupi, Feb 16, 2025 - The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) of the Diocese of Udupi hosted” Spirit Quest”, a half-day YOU CAT training program at Anugraha Pastoral Centre. Thirty-eight dynamic youth leaders from across the diocese convened for the session. Fr. Alwyn D’Souza, Director of Family Commission and facilitator, delved into the origin and impact of YOU CAT, highlighting its innovative and youth-driven Q&A format. Youth leaders dived into thought-provoking discussions on marriage, relationships, God’s Mercy and Sunday observance, sharing personal experiences and learning how to facilitate effective sessions in their units. Lisha D’Souza, the YOU CAT diocesan in charge, provided valuable guidelines on reporting sessions, while Nithin Baretto, ICYM Udupi president, presented a heartfelt token of gratitude. With its unique blend of activities and discussions, the “Spirit Quest” tapped into the talents of the youth leaders to reinvigorate the YOU CAT sessions in their communities.
