Udupi youth unite for Christus Fiesta 2025

Udupi, March 16, 2025: The much-anticipated Christus Fiesta 2025 brought together 410 youth from across Udupi for a day of faith, fellowship and inspiration at Stella Maris Church, Kalmady. The Udupi youth, in collaboration with Jesus youth, organized this program. The event was inaugurated by Fr. Steven Fernandes, with an inaugural address by Fr. Baptist Menezes. The day included praise and worship led by Brayan, the Jesus Youth Coordinator, along with powerful testimonies, a pro-life exhibition and an engaging “Living Saint’s” competition. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Msgr. Ferdinand Gonsalves, setting a deeply spiritual tone for the gathering. Inspirational sessions were conducted by Fr. Canute Barboza, followed by a moving adoration led by Fr. Cyril Lobo. A Biblical enactment by the youth and Kalmady parishioners left a profound impact on the attendees. The success of the Christus Fiesta 2025 was made possible through the efforts of ICYM and YCS Central Councils, along with steadfast support of Fr. Steven Fernandes, Fr. Baptist Menezes, Jesus Youth, and the Kalmady parishioners. The event truly rekindled the spirit of faith and fellowship among the youth, leaving them inspired and strengthened in their faith journey.
