The General Body Meeting and Swearing in Ceremony
The YCS Mangalore diocese held its annual general Body meeting on July 7th, 2024, at Urwa Church Hall, Mangalore. The event marked the transition of power as newly elected office-bearers took oath and assumed their roles. The meeting set a tone for a productive year ahead.

Central Council Members LIVE-IN Training Program
The YCS central council members participated in the LIVE-IN training program from July 13-14, 2024, at Anugraha Pastoral Centre, Udupi. The program aimed to enhance leadership skills to deepen spiritual understanding, empowering members to serve with renewed passion and purpose.

Mangalore Diocese launched its official website on August 17th, 2024. Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha, the chief guest presided over the ceremony. The website promises to bridge gaps, foster connectivity, and showcase diocesan activities, news and events

YSM Investiture Program
The YSM investiture program commenced on 9th September 2024, at Carmel School, Mangalore. The ceremony began a new leadership era, as office bearers pledged to serve with dedication and commitment. The event signalled a fresh chapter in YSM's journey.

Parzlchi Thara – Summer Camp
Parzalchi Thara summer camp at Vamajoor unit empowered children from 4th – 9th standard with leadership and training skills. The engaging program nurtured teamwork, creativity, and confidence.

YCS Deanery Convention across the Diocese

Moodbidri Deanery Convention
Moodbidri Denary hosted its Convention YCS Convention at Holy Rosary Church, Alangar, on 14th July 2024. A total of 156 students attended, engaging in faith formation and community-building activities.

Episcopal City Deanery Convention
Vitla Deanery’s YCS Convention took place on July 21st, 2024, at Deva Matha Sabha Bhavan Church Hall, Mogarnad. 113 students participated in the event

Vitla Deanery Convention
Episcopal City Deanerie’s YCS Convention was organized on July 28th, 2024. The event captivated an audience of 179 enthusiastic students.

Pezar Deanery Convention
On Aug 4th the YCS Pezar deanery convention was conducted at St. Joseph’s College auditorium Bajpe. 66 Students attended the program.

St Joseph’s Vas Deanery Convention (Permannur)
The St. Joseph vas YCS deanery organized the YCS Convention at St. Joseph Shrine premises, Modipu on 18th August 2024. This program drew a remarkable 180 students.

St. James Deanery Convention (Belthangady)
This deanery hosted the convention program on 1st September 2024, at Holy Redeemer Church Auditorium, Belthangady and 103 students joined the program.

YCS North Deanery Convention
The Convention of this deanery occurred on September 15th, 2024, at St. Mary Special School Hall, KInnigoli. 77 participants engaged in faith formation activities.

St. Peter City Deanery Convention
On 16th September 2024, St. Joseph’s Engineering College Vamanjoor hosted the convention of St. Peter City Deanery, with an impressive turnout of 274, the program was a great success.

Kasaragod Deanery Convention
The convention of Kasaragod Deanery was conducted at St. Mary’s College, Bella, on October 2nd, 2024. This program, too, witnessed a significant attendance of 140 participants.

Bantwal Deanery
The Bantwal Deanery Convention witnessed 161 participants on October 6th, 2024, at Vailankanni, Sabha Bhavan, Hall, Farla.

St. Paul Deanery Conventiony
St. Paul’s Deanery organized its convention on October 7th, 2024, at St. Philomena’s College Puttur. 85 individuals attended the program, demonstrating its appeal.
These conventions offered a transformative experience for the young to nurture faith and community ties.
