YSM Convention- 6th Jan 2025 “YSM Habba” inspires students in Udupi

Udupi, Jan 6, 2025 – The YSM Convention, aptly named “ YSM Habba,” took place at Our Lady of Miracles Cathedral, Milagres Church Hall, Kallianpur, bringing together students from 15 schools around the Udupi diocese. It began with a unique Universal Prayer Service led by the students of Mount Rosary School, Santhe Katte, inspiring keynote speakers like Msgr. Ferdinand Gonsalves, Fr. Pradeep Cardoza, and the exciting competitions such as ‘Best out of Waste, Brain Battle, Flower Carpet, and Dance.’ The Bishop of Udupi, Most Rev Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, urged the students to remain committed to their goals and work diligently towards achieving them. The event's highlight was the keynote address by Mr. Mervin Vas, the resource person, who shared his personal story of overcoming challenges through hard work, dedication perseverance, and resilience. It stirred and awakened the students. The winners of the competitions were honored with certificates and medals. The event concluded at 3.30 pm with a heartfelt thanksgiving to God, the Organizers, and all 15 participating schools for their participation and individual contributions.
