Yuva Dabazo 2024 – A Celebration of Youth and Talent

The ICYM, Diocese of Udupi, held a highly successful Diocesan Youth Convention, 'Yuva Dabazo 2024, on September 29th at St. Francis Xavier Church, Udyavara. Fr. Charles Menezes encouraged youth to become pillars of faith and leadership in their communities during the Holy Eucharist. The convention showcased unique competitions like Creative Walk, Futuristic Art, Flower Carpet and Brain Wave. The high-energy performance “The Battle of Bands” showcased exceptional talents. The valedictory function was presided over by esteemed dignitaries like Fr. Anil D’Souza, Fr. Steven Fernandes Adv. Rayan Fernandes, MS. Vileena Gonsalvez, Mr Lawrence Dsa, Mrs. Priya Furtado, and Mr Godwin Mascarenhas launched the event calendar applauding the youth’s enthusiasm and participation. Fr. Steven Fernandes, the director of ICYM Udupi, honoured competition winners, supporting future youth initiatives. The event inspired youth to contribute to the church’s mission.
