Youth Fest at Bidar Aurad Zone of Gulbarga Diocese

29th August, 2017: Yuva Chethana the youth Commission of Gulbarga diocese organized Youth fest at Ujani pariah of Bidar Aurad zone on 25 August 2017. Fr clevan Gomes, the Diocesan Youth Director and Fr Sunil Andrade the Zonal Youth Director & the parish priest of Ujjini in collaboration with all the youth leaders organized the youth fest. 135 youth participated the event. Mr Sanjay Makkal and Fr Cyril Castelino SJ. Were the main resource persons for the programme. They highlighted the present political scenario of our country.

After the holy mass , there was volley ball and throw ball matches between the 3 parishes (St Joseph church bidar, Yesukrustalaya Church Ujani and Holy Cross Church Santpur). There was also a dance and skit competition. The Holy Cross Church santpur bagged the champion shield. Fr David, Fr Prashant, Sr oliva, Fr Vijayraju, Sr Jotika, Sr Sanisha , Mr Anil kote, Mr Subash, Ms Rebecca, the dexco members along with the presidents of the 3 parishes were the organizing committee.

The whole programme ws centered round the theme from the gospel of Matthew: "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?" Mt 16:26
