ICYM Bambil Unit in collaboration with Parish Pastoral Council, Bambil organizes Children’s Day - 2K18

11th November, 2018:ICYM Bambil Unit in collaboration with Parish Pastoral Council, Bambil organized Children’s Day - 2K18 on Sunday 11th November at Bambil church hall. The programme commenced with a prayer song. Preethi Rodrigues - Member, ICYM Bambil Unit welcomed the gathering. The inaugural programme was presided over by Rev. Fr Johnson L Sequeira Parish Priest, Bambil Church along with Flavy Dsouza - Vice President, Parish Pastoral Council, Two children representatives Aaron Dsouza , Rachel Rodrigues and Joy Crasta, President ICYM Bambil Unit were the dignitaries for the inaugural programme. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Flavy Dsouza addressed the children and stressed the need of having a positive outlook for the future. Rev. Fr. Johnson L Sequeira in his presidential speech inspired the children by his encouraging words and also stressed that children should be acceptable with love and care. Preethi Rodrigues proposed the vote of thanks and compered the programme. ICYM Members conducted group dynamic activities and games for the children. A total of 40 children participated in this event. A skit was performed by Raja and team, Manasa song was sung by Melita and group, Group dance was performed by Roshni Pinto and team, Duet song was sung by Lesley Dsouza and Praveen Serrao, Solo dance was performed by Preethi Rodrigues, Actions songs were conducted by Calvin Fernandes and team. Culture event and games were compered by Alwin Veigas. Sumptuous meal and ice cream was served to all. The programme concluded with a baila.
