Jesus Youth Karnataka ​3 months report ​

1.Discipleship Training Programs (DTP) in Coorg and Bangalore
DTP an 8 day training program to mould disciples for Christ happened in Coorg from April 22 to 29. In the month of May and June two DTPs happened in St. Theresas novitiate , Whitefield, Bangalore.

2. Bangalore Servant Leaders Gathering
BSLG happened on January 9 and 10 elected New Bangalore Service Team with Sebastian George as the coordinator.

3.Jesus Youth commitment and recommitment day
May 15, the day of Pentecost was the the commitment and recommitment day where 350 JY had renewed or taken commitment for the movement from all over Karnataka. The gathering happened in different places in the Pentecost day.

4.National Assembly
On May 28,29 in DVK, Christ University Bangalore 200 Jesus youth from various states gathered to elect the new JY National Council. Charles Bastian Antony from Bangalore is the new coordinator for JY India.

5.CREW: Christians Ready Equipped and Willing
An initiative of campus ministry to form 40 Christian leaders, a formation series started in different places in Karnataka. Various meets of participants and the mentors are happening.

6.JY Fulltimership
On the Jubilee year of JY National Fulltimership, Roopa from Coorg has taken 1 year commitment.

7.'Encounter Mercy through Scriptures with Fr. Fio'
35 participants attended the Year of Mercy, bible seminar by Fr Fio Mascarenhas SJ, the Chairman of the Catholic Bible Institute (Mumbai) held on June 25,26 at Snehadan, Carmelaram, Bangalore.

8.Meet Jesus 2016
Almost 780 nurses gathered at St. Agnes college auditorium, Mangalore for renewing their faith in Christ on 26 th June.
