Belgaum Youth Commission organizes Passion Play at Hubli

26th March, 2018 : The Youth commission of belgaum diocese organized light and sound programme on 25 March 2018 at Sacred heart convent school ground with the intention to proclaim Jesus to everyone. Passion Play –the greatest love story depicted the sorrowful events in the life of our Lord Jesus leading to His bitter passion and death on Cross. The paly was enacted by the youth and parishners of five parishes of hubli unit. This play was heart touching and its significance in the present society helped the people to reflect on their own life and joyfully accept the cross of Christ as true Christians. There were more than 100 artists who took part and staged a meaningful programme in preparation for Good Friday.

The parish priests of Hubli unit, the religious sisters were the support. Most Rev. Bishop Peter Machado was present and appreciated this well organized programme which carried the message of God’s love and compassion for humanity. There were Christian pastors and thousands of people present to witness this programme. All glory and thanksgiving to God who enabled us to carry out His Mission of proclaiming Christ through this passion play.
