ICYM Shakthinagar Unit organizes "Sangath Suvalo - 2"

7th October, 2018 : ICYM Shakthinagar Unit organized "Sangath Suvalo - 2" an interward competition for the parishioners of Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar on Sunday 7 th October 2018. Rev Fr Gerald Dsouza Parish Priest, Rev Fr Nilesh Crasta Assistant Parish Priest, Yuvaspoorthi Rev Fr Ronald Prakash Dsouza ICYM Diocesan Director, Rev Fr Trishan Dsouza Assistant Director St Antony Charity Institution, Jaison Leroy Pereira Shirthady ICYM Diocesan President, Noyal Dsouza Permannur Vice President, Fevisha Monteiro Ranipura General Secretary, Frenton Irol Dsouza Cascia P.R.O, Elroy Saldanha Omzoor Immediate Past President, Cleeta Dsouza Surathkal MIJARC Representative and Diocesan Nominated Representative for ICYM City Deanery, Adline Jyothsna Pinto Fermai President and Roshan Rocco Vamanjoor Secretary ICYM City Deanery, Asha Monteiro Vice President and William Colaco Secretary Parish Pastoral Council Shakthinagar unit, Vincent Carlo ICYM Animator were the dignitaries present for this event.

More than 20 games like treasure hunt, best out of waste, tug of war, fun relay, memory test, slow bike race, roll the tyre and many more were conducted by ICYM members. All the 7 wards from the parish participated in all the games. Overall Champions Trophy was bagged by Mother of God Ward, followed by the 1st runners by Velankanni Ward and 2nd Runners by Nithyadar Ward. Individual Medals were awarded to the winners. Prajwal Pinto President ICYM Shakthinagar Unit welcomed the gathering. Ayola Dsouza Secretary delivered the words of gratitude. Gladson Pereira, Veena Vas, Priyanka Rodrigues jointly compered the programme. The programme was successful and was well appreciated.
