ICYM of Davangere organizes Taize Prayer for Youth

4th November, 2017: Taize is a Village in France which attracts thousands of youth from all around the world. It’s an amazing to in the midst of lights adoring Jesus on the Cross in the blissful silent music and chants.

The ICYM unit of Davangere parish had organised a Taize Prayer service on 03.November 2017 for all the people of the parish and neighboring youths. Youth from Harihara and Davangere participated in the prayer service with all devotion and fervor. The sacrament of confession was made available for all the participants. The diocesan youth director Fr. Ronald Veigas along with the President Gagan Raj, Secretary Chrishmitha and the PRO Nishal conducted the prayer service. The Animator of the parish unit Mr. Stanley, the President of the unit Stella and her entire team had worked strenuously to make a great success. The Parish priest Rev. Fr. Steven D’Sa and youth Assistant Priest Fr. Bartolommeo SJ were present throughout the prayer service and the parish priest thanked for who were responsible for the event.
