Karnataka Regional Ycs/Ysm Council

Udupi 20th April 2013: Karnataka Region YCS/YSM council was held on 20th April 2013 at Holy Cross students’ home, Katapady, Udupi diocese. Totally 25 members took part in the council. Those were 1 Animators 2 students from shimoga, , 2 animators from Mysore, 1 animator 1 student from Belgaum, 1 animator 3students from Mangalore, 1 animator, 9 students, from Udupi, 1 NEXCO, 2 REXCO’s and 1 Regional director. DYD of Gulbarga and shimoga were absent for the meeting.br />
Meeting started at 10.00 am with a prayer led by DEXCO’s of Udupi diocese. In the absence of Enola D’sa Regional secretary, Jovita presented the report of the last meeting. Sr. Lovely Animator of Mysore approved the report and Avil Prakash DEXCO of Udupi seconded the report. Fr. Mari Joseph in his introduction briefed us that main agenda of the meeting is preparation for the National Council participates. He informed us that Pragathi from Belgaum who got elected as a NEXCO for the next term in the last council could not take up the responsibility because of her parent’s objection. Therefore we must elect one girl as NEXCO for the coming 3 years term. We decided to elect a NEXCO among participates of National Council. Fr. Mari asked the students to call up their parents and ask their permission; therefore we postponed the election for the afternoon session.
