ICYM Valencia Unit organizes various competitions on the occasion of Children’s Day

11th November, 2018 : On the occasion of Children’s Day, ICYM Valencia Unit organized various competitions on 11th November 2018 at 4pm in the church hall to all the children from 1st std to 10th std. Categories for the competition were 1st to 4th std with the topic : Traditional fashion, 5th to 7th std with Fashion out of waste and

8th to 10th std cooking without fire. Around 70 children actively participated in the competition. Rev. Fr James Dsouza - Parish Priest and Rev. Fr Joswin Dsouza Assistant Parish Priest, Lizzie Pinto – Secretary, Valencia Parish Pastoral Council welcomed the judges with a flower bouquet.

The Judges for the fashion show were Samantha Dsouza, Bendore and Dr Smitha Rasquinha, Bendore. Cooking without fire Rolain Lobo, Bajal and Dr Dipthi Castelino, Shirva. Judges announced the results of the competitions. Sonali Fernandes - Unit secretary handed over the memento’s to the judges. Jovita Rebello – Former Secretary compered the fashion show event and Gordon Dalmeida - Immediate Past President managed cooking without fire competition.
